Hello Grade 5/6 Ramsay Families! We had another great week! Just a few reminders on upcoming events: - September 29 th is Orange Shirt Day, so please encourage your child to wear orange if possible. -September 30th is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation so schools and offices are closed. Social Studies On Monday, September 20 th , students across the country participated in Student Vote Canada, in which they ‘voted’ for their chosen party representative from within the Calgary Centre riding. After reviewing the political platforms for each party based on twelve key issues, students then cast their ballot. After class election tallies were calculated, and the national results were reported, we calculated our percentage results and compared them to the popular vote in the Calgary Centre riding.
