  Pink Shirt Day   Anti-Bullying Day is an annual event, held in Canada and other parts of the world, where people wear a pink- coloured shirt to stand against bullying. Last Wednesday, students in grade 5/6 viewed a virtual session created by the grade 2/3 team, which had provided guidance on how to be an Upstander in situations of bullying. The students also watched a story called ‘The Invisible Boy’ and then came together as a class to determine what both inclusion and exclusion looks like , feels like , and sounds like . Individually, students then recorded a private and confidential pledge to reach out to someone in the class who may be feeling a bit ‘invisible.’             Math   In math this week, students worked on completing transformation rotations from both the vertex of a shape, as well as from a different point of rotation.
